한국얀센, 울트라셋 세미 국내 시판

중등도 이상의 급ㆍ만성통증 환자의 초기 진통제

중등도 및 중증 급만성통증 환자에 초기용량으로 사용할 수 있는 비마약성 진통제 "울트라셋(ULTRACET) 세미정"이 국내 시판됐다.

한국얀센은 기존의 비마약성 진통제 울트라셋의 용량을 절반으로 줄인 "울트라셋 세미정"을 시판했다.

울트라셋 세미 1정의 성분은 아세트아미노펜(Acetaminophen) 162.5mg, 트라마돌( Tramadol HCL) 18.75mg이다.

울트라셋 세미정은 기존 울트라셋 정제를 바로 사용하기 어려운 민감한 환자나 노인환자 등을 포함한 중등도 및 중증 급만성통증 환자들이 초기용량으로 통증을 치료하는데 적합하도록 만들어졌다.

이와 관련 미국통증학회는 지난 2002년 "관절염 및 통증에 관한 가이드라인"에서 중등도 이상의 통증에 사용되는 울트라셋과 같은 트라마돌 제제를 사용할 때 민감한 환자나 노인환자 등에게는 초기에 저용량으로 통증치료를 시작하는 것이 필요하다고 설명했다.

울트라셋 세미정의 보험상한가는 1정당 238원이며 3월1일 이후부터 중등도 및 중증 급만성통증 환자가 처방 받을 경우 건강보험을 적용 받을 수 있다.

울트라셋은 마약성 진통제가 아니면서도 Codeine 30mg 제제와 동등한 강력한 진통효과를 보이는 반면 마약성 진통제에서 나타나는 중독성이나 약물 남용의 우려가 적은 것이 특징이다.

또 울트라셋은 기존 트라마돌 제제보다 신속히 약효를 나타내는 장점을 가지고 있다.
